There is no hidden camera in the hotel: Muhammad Zubair's explanation on video management

A statement issued by Awari Towers Hotel denied the presence of spy cameras in hotel rooms and said "we do not violate the privacy of our customers."

Samaa Digital contacted Dansha Awari, director of Awari Towers, to find out if the notice was really issued by the hotel, who said in a text message, "We wanted to offer an explanation."

The notice was shared on social media on Monday. The Awari family, hotel and team members want to make it clear that there are no hidden cameras in the rooms to their knowledge.

The statement started circulating on social media several hours after some videos of PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair Umar went viral on social media. There is currently no forensic confirmation that these videos really belong to Muhammad Zubair.

In the videos, the same man can be seen with different women. A large number of social media users pointed out the similarities between the rooms seen in the video and the rooms in the Awari Towers, however, nothing in the videos indicates that they were actually made in hotel rooms.

After the videos went viral, many users tweeted using inappropriate words against Zubair Omar, but most questioned the authenticity of the footage, saying it was part of a campaign against the former Sindh governor.

However, a statement from Awari Towers stated that "if any video is actually filmed in their hotel, it is illegal to do so without their knowledge."

The statement added, "If anything is caught with a camera in a room, the camera was placed illegally which we did not know about and it was not done with our consent. Migration does not promote espionage and Nor does it compromise the privacy of its guests or customers.

Muhammad Zubair, on the other hand, denied the videos, calling them "fake and doctorate".

In his tweet on Monday morning, the former Sindh governor wrote, "Whoever is behind it has done a very vile and shameful act. I have served my country with honesty, integrity and determination. ”

The league leader called it "a new decline in politics".
