Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to complete the establishment of Islamabad Special Technology Zone as soon as possible
Presiding over the second meeting of the Board of Governors of the Special Technology Zones Authority, the Prime Minister said that promotion of technology in the country is one of the top priorities of the government. We will provide all possible facilities to the investors for profitable business activities.
The meeting, chaired by the Prime Minister, reviewed the progress made in making the authority a dynamic institution, providing investment and employment.
The Special Technology Zones Authority Board of Governors meeting approved STZ Rules 2021. The Prime Minister was also briefed on the progress made in setting up the Islamabad Special Technology Zone.
The meeting was also briefed on the establishment of special technology zones in rural sectors. The meeting was informed that special interest and commitment is being expressed by the people regarding investment.
The meeting was also briefed on strategies for youth capacity building, training and employment.
Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the progress made by the authority.
