Thousands of Sikhs decide to secede from India, Khalistan

Thousands of Sikhs decided to secede from India to Khalistan in a referendum in London to establish a separate Sikh homeland.

According to Sikh leaders, about 30,000 people took part in the referendum. The organizers said that despite Indian pressure, the British government allowed the referendum for which they were grateful.

The Indian foreign secretary said in a statement that the national security advisers of India and the United Kingdom would meet later this month to discuss Khalistan leaders active in the United Kingdom.

The Indian foreign secretary's statement came two days after a referendum on Khalistan was held in Britain.

According to the Turkish broadcaster, during a meeting on the sidelines of the World Climate Conference in Glasgow, Modi exploded in front of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and expressed his concerns over the referendum on Khalistan in Britain.

According to the report, in the meeting between the two prime ministers, trade issues went into the background and the issue of Khalistan remained at the top.

In the meeting, Narendra Modi raised the issue of a referendum on Khalistan before Boris Johnson, after which it was agreed that the two national security advisers would jointly review the issue.
