Israel fears the Islamic Republic of Iran could become a nuclear power

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has called the Iranian regime a threat to the world, warning that if Iran acquires nuclear weapons, all Middle Eastern countries will become nuclear.

According to Al-Arabiya.net, addressing an online conference titled "Alliance Against Nuclear Iran", Bennett said that Iran's nuclear presence is not in Israel's interest and should not be allowed.

The report quoted Israeli media as saying that Bennett urged his major allies to continue to put pressure on Iran and to coordinate its efforts.

Former United States ambassador to the United Nations Nicki Haley has criticized President Joe Biden's administration for leaving its allies alone with Iran. According to Haley, there is a need to strengthen ties with Israel and other countries in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, the European Union announced on Wednesday that a joint committee on the Iranian nuclear deal would meet in Vienna on November 29 with representatives from China, France, Germany, Russia, Britain and Iran.
