According to the Cricket Editor's website, New Zealand cricket officials are hopeful that they will visit Pakistan this year.


In this regard, New Zealand Cricket Chief Executive David White has said that if the security arrangements are satisfactory, his cricket team will visit Pakistan before the T20 World Cup this year. The T20 World Cup will be played in the United Arab Emirates.


According to David White, the New Zealand Cricket Board is in touch with the Pakistan Cricket Board and government agencies there.


"Everything is going well so far, to ensure all security arrangements, which I think we will do, we will visit Pakistan," he said.


The New Zealand Cricket Board hopes that their team will be able to play a short format cricket series in Pakistan before the T20 World Cup.


With this series, the players of both the teams will be able to start preparing for the World T20 World Cup which will be held in October this year.


The Pakistan Cricket Board has made a schedule to play a short format series with the England team before the T20 World Cup.
