Prices of petroleum products are likely to fluctuate

 The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary of changes in prices of petroleum products to the Ministry of Petroleum. The summary recommends maintaining the current price of petrol.

The summary sent by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has suggested an increase in the price of diesel by Rs 4.36 per liter.

According to the summary, it is recommended to maintain the current price of petrol, while not increasing the price of kerosene and light diesel.

The final decision on price adjustment will be taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan. The new prices will take effect on June 1.

An earlier summary sent on May 16 also decided to maintain petrol prices. OGRA sends a summary of pricing to the Ministry of Petroleum after 15 days.

According to the data released on May 16, the government has increased the prices of petroleum products by Rs3.35 per liter in five months. Kerosene was priced at Rs 3.35 per liter, while light diesel was priced at Rs 1.42 per liter.

During this period, petroleum products were twice as expensive, twice as cheap and 3 times as expensive.
