ISLAMABAD: The fire in Margalla mountains has been brought under control by 90 percent

 The fire in the Margalla Hills in the federal capital Islamabad has been brought under control by 90 per cent.


Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqat said in his tweet that inshallah the fire will be brought under control soon.


He said that Margalla Trails has been closed for the citizens while investigation into the incident is underway.


On the other hand, the wildlife department has appealed to the citizens for cooperation in this regard.


It may be recalled that the fire in Margalla Hills in Islamabad had saddened former fast bowler of Pakistan cricket team Shoaib Akhtar as a bird had burnt his life in it.


The former cricketer, who is known for his fast bowling in the world of cricket, wrote on a social networking site that the names of those who set fire to Margalla Hills.


Former Pakistan cricket team fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar shared a photo on a social networking site and wrote that she could have run away, she had the ability to fly but she did not run away because these eggs had lives in them.


World-renowned fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has written that we set fire because we have matches and do not realize.
