According to Indian media, Kabaddi player Dharmendra Singh was shot dead in front of Punjab University while he was being shot while resolving a dispute.

According to the report, the police said that Dharmendra Singh had gone to settle a dispute between a group from his village and another from another village yesterday and was shot dead.

It should be noted that the slain kabaddi players were also very active in politics while they had recently left the Shiromani Akali Dal and joined the Aam Aadmi Party before the elections.

Keep in mind that India is becoming unsafe for kabaddi players as it is the second murder of a kabaddi player in a month.

 Earlier, international kabaddi player Sandeep Singh Nangal was shot dead by 20 bullets during a kabaddi match in Jalandhar.

The report said that the bullets hit Sandeep Singh on the head and chest after which he was shifted to the hospital but he died on the way due to excessive bleeding.
