Minister for Economic Affairs Omar Ayub Khan has said that the role of private sector is significant in enhancing bilateral relations between Pakistan and Russia.
A high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Omar Ayub in which relations between the two countries were discussed. The declaration of the meeting was also presented.
According to the statement, the meeting also reviewed the progress made on the decisions taken at the 6th Pak-Russia Intergovernmental Meeting, while the Minister for Economic Affairs also called for further strengthening of bilateral relations with Russia.
The statement said that the Pak-Russia intergovernmental meeting would be held in Russia from November 24 to 26.
Omar Ayub Khan also directed the concerned ministries to prepare comprehensive proposals in the meeting.
Presiding over the meeting, Minister for Economic Affairs Omar Ayub said that the role of private sector was significant in enhancing bilateral relations especially trade and investment.
