Ambassador of Pakistan Dr. Asad Majeed Khan said that Pakistan values its long standing partnership with the United States.
The annual meeting of the Investment Association 20-20 has been held in Washington DC in which the Ambassador of Pakistan Dr. Asad Majeed Khan addressed the closing session of the annual meeting of the Investment Association.
Reiterating Pakistan's commitment to economic reforms and facilitating international investment, the Ambassador said that Pakistan is a unique geo-strategic location, with vast resources and a great destination for foreign and local investors.
He said that the present government of Pakistan was providing attractive and easy policies for investment in all sectors of the economy.
Ambassador of Pakistan Dr. Asad Majeed Khan reiterated Pakistan's support for a comprehensive and political settlement in Afghanistan. The international community should recognize the changed political reality of Afghanistan and avoid human tragedy.
He added that if there is no peace in Afghanistan, its effects could be felt in the region and beyond.
He said that Pakistan wanted to establish bilateral relations with the United States which were mainly based on economy and trade.
It should be noted that the Ambassador of Pakistan also briefed the representative group of prominent American investors about the vast investment opportunities in Pakistan.
