India: Attack by armed insurgents: 7 killed, including 5 soldiers

In India, armed insurgents have attacked and killed seven people, including five soldiers.

According to foreign media reports, the commanding officer of the Assam Rifles unit was on his way to his car with his family when he was ambushed by armed men. Passed away

The dead included Assam Rifles Commanding Officer Thari Pathi, his wife Anuja and four military personnel including their son Abir.

On the other hand, the Chief Minister of the state strongly condemned the incident and said that the accused would be brought to justice. A statement issued by the Indian Army said that the commanding officer was traveling in his car with his family when he was accompanied by a military vehicle carrying three security personnel.

The Manipur-based terrorist groups People's Liberation Army or PLA, and the Manipur Naga People's Front, or (MFPF), claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement.

It should be noted that attacks on security forces have increased since the Modi government came to power.
