Saudi Arabia has introduced a new method to make the marriage contract process easier and faster in the kingdom.
The implementation of this procedure will not only ensure early completion and approval of the marriage contract but will also ensure the accuracy of the information about the couple in this regard.
The Saudi Ministry of Justice announced in a statement the new procedure for completing and approving a marriage contract, according to which the new procedure for registration of marriage and its approval in the first stage before the application for marriage registration The applicant couple has to enter the basic information on the portal of the Ministry of Justice.
All the required information will be entered there. The application will be submitted after verification of the accuracy of the data entered.
According to Arab media, after reviewing the application by the experts of the Ministry of Justice, the process of verifying the terms and conditions of the agreement and the information entered will be completed in just two days.
Upon completion of the verification process, the parties will approve the marriage document and the applicant will be allowed to enter into a marriage contract and select a competent person for final confirmation of its requirements. He will also be obliged to listen to the oral statement of the woman who is engaged to be married.
According to officials, the implementation of this new method of marriage contract will minimize the possibility of error in completing the stages of this important sharia and social issue.
The Justice Ministry added that the procedure would address previous issues and ensure accurate data entry and information accuracy. In this way, the work that used to take several weeks will be completed in a few days.
