Pakistan Cup Women's ODI Tournament starts from Thursday

 The Pakistan Cup Women's ODI Tournament will start on Thursday. This will be the first tournament of the National Women's Cricket Season 22-2021 in which four teams will participate.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, the winner of the 14-match tournament will be awarded Rs 1 million.

All matches of the tournament will be played at the National Stadium and Oval Academy Ground Karachi.

The strikers will participate in the national women's cricket season for the first time. The team will also participate in the National Women's T20 Tournament after the Pakistan Cup Women's ODI Tournament.

The team participating in the tournament for the first time will be led by Kainat Imtiaz.

Kainat Imtiaz, who leads the strikers, says that for the first time, a fourth team is participating in the women's tournament.

"Adding a team will encourage women cricketers."


In addition, the leadership of the Blasters has been handed over to Sedrah Nawaz, while Jawariya Khan will captain the Challengers and Muneeb Ali Siddiqui will captain the Dynamites.

The best player of each match of the tournament will be given a prize of Rs 20,000, while the runners-up team will be given Rs 500,000.

To promote women's cricket and make the game popular, the Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to stream the tournament matches live on its YouTube channel.

The final of the event will be played on September 21, this match will be day and night.
