In view of the spread of corona cases, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood convened an inter-provincial education ministers' conference at 2 p.m.
The meeting, chaired by the Federal Minister for Education, will be attended by the four provincial education ministers as well as the Gilgit-Baltistan minister.
Corona has been called in to take into account the alarming rise in cases and children's exams, which will decide to increase exams and holidays.
On the other hand, the Punjab government has proposed to extend the holidays till August 15.
Strategies for the new academic year, including Corona SOPs, will also be considered.
It should be noted that according to the NCOC, the rate of corona cases in the country has been reported as 7.8.
Yesterday, 52,291 tests were performed on Corona while 4,119 new cases of Corona were reported in 24 hours.
It may be recalled that in the last 24 hours, 44 more patients died from Karuna while the total death toll rose to 23,131.
