Experts say it is the largest and oldest city discovered in Egypt.

According to researchers, the city's history dates from 1391 to 1353 BC, when the region was ruled by Amin Hatp Tahm, one of Egypt's most powerful pharaohs.

Excavations have uncovered valuable items such as jewelry, colorful pottery and ancient Egyptian amulets.

Surprisingly, they also include clay bricks stamped with the Amin Hotp Tahm.

The area is about 500 kilometers from the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
