The positive results of economic policies are beginning to emerge, Fawad Chaudhry

 ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has said that positive results of economic policies are beginning to emerge.


Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said in a statement that the PPP and PML-N suffered economic hardships due to the devastation caused to the economy.


He said that positive results of economic policies have started coming to the fore and for the first time in the history of the country more than Rs. 4,000 billion has been collected in taxes.


The Information Minister said that Pakistanis abroad took part in the effort to get the economy back on its feet and Pakistanis abroad sent one thousand billion rupees to Pakistan.


He said that historical production of wheat, rice, sugarcane and maize has taken place while Rs. 1,100 billion has been transferred to the agricultural economy.


The Federal Minister said that the purchasing power of farmers has increased significantly and tractors have sold 64% more. Similarly, the use of fertilizers and pesticides has also increased.


He said that the stock market set a new record by buying and selling 2.21 billion shares on May 27 and at present Pakistan market is the best market in the world.


Fawad Chaudhry said that the economy was going up and the condition of the common man was changing. Why is the opposition calling for protests? Who will benefit from such politics?
