Innocent question from celebrities on the steps of Cristiano Ronaldo

Pakistani actor Yasir Hussain has asked a question to Pakistani players and actors, citing news about Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

Expressing solidarity with the people of Israel against the Israeli atrocities in Palestine, Yasir Hussein shared a screenshot of an old news of Ronaldo, according to which the star footballer turned down the offer to work in the advertisement of the international brand of carbonated drinks Pepsi, even though the offer was in millions of dollars.

The reason for Ronaldo's refusal is the brand's involvement in funding the Israeli army, which oppresses the Palestinian people.

Appreciating the footballer's bold move, Yasir Hussain raised the question in the same context, "Can our players and actors do the same?"

The actor also termed his query in the caption as "innocent question".

Cristiano Ronaldo won the Player of the Century award at a ceremony in Dubai in December 2020.

Before Ronaldo, Manchester United's famous French footballer Paul Pogba and Ivory Coast's Emad Diallo had recorded their protest against Israeli atrocities by waving the Palestinian flag on the ground.

The ceasefire between Israel and Palestine took place in the early hours of Friday, May 21. More than 250 people, including women and children, were killed in 11 days of Israeli airstrikes. According to Israeli officials, 12 people, including one of their military personnel, were killed in the recent conflict.
