A blind Chinese climber climbs Mount Everest

Chinese mountaineer Zheng Hong has climbed the world's highest peak, Mount Everest.

According to media reports, the 46-year-old Chinese climber climbed Mount Everest via Nepal, making him the first blind climber in Asia and the third in the world to climb the highest peak.

"It doesn't matter if you have eyes or not, if you have arms or legs, if you have passion and you feel strong on the inside," Zheng Hong told Reuters. If so, you are in no way inferior to others in the world.

Zheng Hong, 46, of China, was born in the southwestern Chinese city of Chongqing. When he was 21, he lost his sight due to glaucoma. For this trip, he started training with his mountain guide friend Ang Zi.

Zheng Hong climbed the world's highest peak from Nepal, reached the summit of Mount Everest at 8,849 meters on May 24 and returned to base camp on May 27.

Leading Pakistani climber Ali Sadpara, along with John Asnori of Iceland and MP Mehr of Chile, went missing while climbing Mount Everest in February this year, after which the three climbers were searched with the help of Pakistan Army A search operation was launched, but after several days of searching, they could not be traced. After which the rescue operation was stopped and the joint press conference of the family and the authorities confirmed the death of the three climbers.

It is also worth mentioning here that Pemba Guljain Sherpa of Nepal was in the K2K death zone for 90 hours in 2008 to rescue two climbers.
