National Cricket Stadium Karachi is being considered to host the first match of the Test series between Pakistan and England.

However, due to political uncertainty, the Cricket Boards of Pakistan and England are considering an alternative venue for the first Test match instead of Rawalpindi.
According to the details, the English team will arrive in Pakistan as per the schedule for the Test series and the Test matches will also be played as per the previously scheduled dates.
However, it is likely that the National Stadium Karachi will host the third match of the series as well as the first match, while the second Test match will be played in Multan.
It should be remembered that after England's success in the 2001-2000 series, no Test match has been played in Karachi between the two countries in the last 20 years.
The final decision on the transfer of Test match from Rawalpindi to Karachi is expected in the next 48 to 72 hours and the Pakistan Cricket Board is contacting all the relevant organizations and parties in this regard.
