God willing, one day I will bowl faster than 155 kmph

Imran Malik, a young fast bowler from Indian-administered Kashmir, has said that he wants to cross the milestone of fast bowling at a speed of 155 kmph a day but his main focus is to bowl in the right places.

God willing, one day I will bowl faster than 155 kmph

According to Indian TV channel NDTV, Imran Malik, who made headlines in the IPL for his superb bowling and speed, took five wickets in the match on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old bowler from Jammu had almost beaten his team Sun Riser Hyderabad against Gujarat Titans when Rahul Tiwatia and Rashid Khan hit four sixes in the last over to help their team win the match.

Although Sun Riser Hyderabad did not win the match, Imran Malik was awarded Man of the Match for his devastating bowling, which was the best spell in the history of IPL.

After the match on Wednesday night, Imran said, "The idea was to bowl fast with the right line and plan to take wickets. Like I bowled Hardik Bhai on a bouncer and bowled Saha on a yorker with a slow run up.

Imran Malik was awarded Man of the Match for taking five wickets.

"I tried to target mixed type bowling and wickets because it is a small ground. Otherwise, our bowling has been good.

Asked if he still wants to reach 155km / h, Imran Malik said: "I just want to get the ball in the right places and get wickets and if I want to reach 155km / h. If I had to bowl fast, I would do it one day, God willing.

It is to be noted that Imran is currently bowling at a speed of 150 kmph in the ILP and has taken 15 wickets in eight matches. He is the first bowler in the history of IPL to take the first five wickets of any batting line.
