Hafeez had recently congratulated Imran Khan on the rejection of the opposition's no-confidence motion against the government in the National Assembly, which was directly criticized by the PML-N and PPP leaders.
Hafeez had called Imran Khan a real legend in his tweet on which PPP leader Saeed Ghani had advised him, "Play cricket, don't play with the country".
In a report published in this regard, PML-N MPA Hina Pervaiz Butt, who was elected to the reserved seats for women in the Punjab Assembly, had also advised Hafeez to work harder.
In her tweet, Hina said, "Keep your mouth shut and play cricket quietly. There is no need to support an incompetent." You have nothing to do with politics.

It may be recalled that in the National Assembly session on Sunday, April 3, Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri had rejected the no-confidence motion of the opposition against Prime Minister Imran Khan, calling it a foreign conspiracy.
The opposition had decided to approach the Supreme Court, but on the same day, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Ata Bandial, on the advice of fellow judges, took cognizance of the Deputy Speaker's ruling and the matter is now pending in the court.
