Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan has recently explained his divorce from his second wife Kiran Rao.
In July last year, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced the end of their marriage in a joint statement, after which the news started circulating in the Indian media that Aamir Khan will soon get married for the third time.
Some news outlets also claimed that the reason for Aamir's divorce from Kiran was an actress.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan's name was also associated with actress Fatima Sana Sheikh, who acted in his film Dingal, while Indian media had even claimed that Aamir and Sana would get married after the release of the film Lal Singh Chadha.
However, now in an interview given to Indian media, Aamir Khan talked about his relationship with his ex-wife Karan Rao.
"Kiran and I are a family but our marital life had some problems, so we decided to separate," he said.
Aamir Khan said that we are still working together and always stand for each other, no one can understand our relationship except us, Kiran has always found my mentality and personality very impressive.
The actor said on rumors about a woman coming into his life after his divorce from Kiran Rao, "There is no such thing. There was no other woman in my life despite being Kiran, nor am I with anyone now."
Aamir Khan's confession
During the interview, Mr. Perfectionist admitted that he considered his two wives, Reena Dutta and Karan Rao, as trivial and did not give time to his family because of his career.
Aamir Khan said that I did not fulfill my responsibilities properly, when I stepped into the film world at the age of 18, I had the urge to make a name for myself, that is why I, along with my parents and family. Could not give time which I am very sorry today.
It may be recalled that Aamir Khan's first wife was Reena Dutta with whom he has two children Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. Aamir Khan divorced Reena Dutta in 2002 after 16 years of marriage.

Aamir Khan had his second marriage with filmmaker Karan Rao on December 28, 2005. The two met during the shooting of the famous film Lagaan where Kiran was acting as an assistant director while Aamir Khan was playing the lead role in the film.
