 The United Nations has adopted a resolution declaring March 15 as the International Day Against Islamophobia.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that our voice has been heard against the rising tide of Islamophobia. I congratulate the Muslim Ummah.

In a Twitter message, the Prime Minister further said that the resolution on Islamophobia tabled by OIC was tabled by Pakistan and the UN adopted the resolution tabled by Pakistan.

The Prime Minister said that the United Nations has finally recognized the serious challenge facing the world, the next challenge for the United Nations is to ensure the implementation of the historic resolution. Imran Khan said that hate speech and discrimination against Muslims must be reduced.

It is to be noted that Prime Minister Imran Khan has been constantly raising his voice against Islamophobia in other important places including the United Nations. He has repeatedly informed the world about the harmful effects of Islamophobia in international forums.
