Leading US multinational technology company Amazon and two major US media companies, Warner Media and Discovery, have also announced a boycott of Russia, according to international media reports.

According to the report, Discovery Media Company has decided to suspend broadcasting of about 15 of its channels in Russia.

Warner Media has also banned Russia from broadcasting its channels.

Licensing for all new content with Russian companies and the release of theaters and games scheduled in Russia by the media company have also been suspended.

US multinational technology company Amazon says the company will no longer ship any products to its Russian customers.

The company also said in a statement that it was "suspending access to prime video for users based in Russia."

It should be noted that Russia was also boycotted by CNN, BBC and German broadcaster DW.

The boycott was prompted by Russia's new censorship law, which was approved by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, March 4.
