Under-19 Asia Cup: Pakistan defeated India

 In the league round of U-19 Asia Cup, Pakistan defeated India by 2 wickets after a thrilling match.

In the match played in Dubai today, the traditional rivals were Pakistan and India. The captain of the national under-19 cricket team Qasim Akram won the toss and decided to field against India.

Batting first, the Indian team was all out for 237 runs in 49 overs. In pursuit of the target, the national team did not have a good start. Opener Abdul Wahid Bangalzai was dismissed without scoring a run.

Middle order batsman Muhammad Shehzad played a responsible innings for Pakistan. He scored 81 runs with the help of 5 sixes and 4 fours and was run out by luck. Among other batsmen, Moaz Ahmed Sadaqat (29), Haseebullah (3), captain Qasim Akram (22), Rizwan Mahmood (29) and Mohammad Irfan Khan (32) were all dismissed. In the closing moments of the match, Ahmed Khan played an aggressive innings of 29 runs off 19 balls.

For India, Rajangad Bawa took two wickets while Nishat Sindhu and Raj Vardhan Hungargikar took one wicket each.

Earlier, the Indian team batted first and put up a total of 237 runs on the board. Opener Harnoor Pinnu stood out with 46 runs while Aradhya Yadav scored 50, Raj Vardhan Hungerkar 33 and Koshal Tambe 32 runs. Indian captains Yash Dhol and Angkrish Raghuvanshi lost wickets without scoring a run.

Syed Zeeshan Zameer took 5 wickets, Owais Ali 2 wickets while Moaz Ahmed Sadaqat and Qasim Akram took one wicket each for the national under-19 team.
