Saudi Arabian actress Areej Abdullah was found dead in her flat in Cairo on Sunday. An autopsy was conducted to determine the cause of death.
The Emirati newspaper Gulf News quoted Arab media as saying that 24-year-old Saudi actress Areej was lying dead when her maid entered her flat.
The report said that the actress's maid immediately informed the police after which a team of police officers reached the spot. According to the preliminary investigation, there is no suspicion of murder in his death and it is possible that it was a sudden natural death.
Police immediately referred the case to the Public Prosecution, which ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The report found that the woman suffered a pulmonary embolism while sleeping, which led to her death.
After receiving the postmortem report, the prosecution issued a death certificate to send the body of the actress to Saudi Arabia for burial.
