Shakib Al Hasan is out of T20 World Cup

 Former Bangladesh captain and all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup due to a hamstring injury.

Bangladesh Cricket Board chief selector Minhaj-ul-Abidin said in a statement that Shakib Al Hasan has been dropped from the T20 World Cup squad due to injury. Due to injury, Shakib will not be able to participate in the series against Pakistan starting November 19.

He said that Shakib Al Hasan had complained of injury against West Indies in T20 World Cup. Bangladesh Cricket Board physiotherapist Debashish Chaudhry said that he has completed the all-rounder's blind examination while his injury is as Grade One.

It should be noted that the performance of the Bangladesh cricket team in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup has been unsatisfactory. In the event, the Bengal team has played 3 matches so far in which they have lost.

The Bangladesh cricket team has two matches left in the T20 World Cup in which they have to face South Africa and Australia.
