Rabi-ul-Awal celebrations, new Karuna SOPs released

 The National Command and Operations Center has issued guidelines for the country on corona virus during (Rabi-ul-Awal.) All religious scholars and Naat singers will have to be vaccinated.

A meeting of the NCOC was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Omar, in which it was decided that only those who have been approved by the government and have a permit will be allowed to hold rallies.

Other SOPs from NCOC are as follows.

Strict implementation of SOPs in Milad ceremonies.

Celebrations of Eid Milad-un-Nabi will require people to wear masks, use sanitizers and maintain social distance.

Scholars, religious scholars and Naat reciters will have to be fully vaccinated against the corona virus.

The government has asked the media to broadcast Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations live. This will allow people to participate in the celebration as much as possible without being physically involved.

Special vaccination camps will be held on 10th Rabi-ul-Awal.

Venues for Milad and other celebrations should be open and airy.

Seating arrangements should ensure a distance of six feet.

Thermal scanners should be installed at the entrances.

Sanitizers and masks should be provided at the entrance.

Health desks should be set up at all places.

Only packaged food should be distributed.

Earlier, the Sindh government banned double riding on Eid Milad-un-Nabi, 12 Rabi-ul-Awal (October 19). However, women, children under the age of 12, senior citizens, journalists, people with disabilities, law enforcement and essential services employees are exempt from the ban.
