Defeated in the third day, England whitewashed Pakistan

 England defeated Pakistan by 3 wickets in a thrilling match in the third ODI of the series to whitewash the series.

 In the last match of the series being played in Birmingham, the national team scored 331 runs in the stipulated 50 overs against England thanks to the career best innings of captain Babar Azam while England achieved the target in 48 overs at a loss of 7 wickets.

England opener David Milan returned to the pavilion in the second over without scoring a run, but Phil Salt and Zack Crawley scored 37 and 39 respectively while captain Ben Stokes also scored 32 runs.

James Owens played a responsible innings with Lewis Craigry. Vince, meanwhile, was dismissed for 102 after scoring a magnificent century, while Lewis was dismissed for 77.

For the national team, Haris Rauf took four wickets, Shadab Khan two and Hassan Ali one.

Fakhr Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq started the innings for Pakistan but Fakhr failed again and returned to the pavilion after scoring only 6 runs. However, Imam-ul-Haq batted slowly and managed to score a half century by scoring 56 runs. Out

Captain Babar Azam, who failed in the first two matches, made his highest score in ODI cricket by playing the best innings of his career. Not only this, the captain of the national team also got the honor of being the player who played the biggest individual innings against England by scoring 158 runs. Earlier, Imam-ul-Haq had played an innings of 151 runs against England in 2019.

Among other players from the national team, Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 74 runs and Sohaib Maqsood was the guest for only 8 runs. Faheem Ashraf 10, Hassan Ali 4, Shadab Khan were out without opening an account. For England, Braden Chris took 5 wickets and Saqib Mahmood took 3 wickets.
