Sajid Sadpara is leaving for K2 Pahar on Friday

 Sajid Sadpara has announced to start the campaign to climb Mount Kato from today.

Sajid Sadpara, son of national hero mountaineer Ali Sadpara, told a press conference in Islamabad on Thursday that he was going to climb K2 on Friday. He said that his father Ali Sadpara went to Kato Sarkar but could not return.

Sajid Sadpara's team also includes foreign climbers and has a program to make a documentary on Kato. Sajid Sadpara said that a documentary will be made on the lives of June Asno and Ali Sadpara. The purpose of this campaign is to go to Kato and see what happened to Ali Sadpara and John Snow.

Sajid Sadpara said that it could take 40 to 45 days to head K2 and a search operation would be conducted during that time. He further said that he had talked of moving from Gilgit-Baltistan but no reply has been received from him so far.
