Ronaldo drops Coca-Cola shares

Portugal's world-famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo removed two bottles of Coca-Cola from a table during a press conference and replaced them with a water bottle, saying "Agua" in Portuguese. Which shows that they are encouraging people to drink water instead of Coca Cola.

Shares of Coca-Cola plummeted after Ronaldo's action and the market value of soft drinks jumped from 24 242 billion to 23 238 billion.

According to the British newspaper 'The Guardian', Cristiano Ronaldo, 36, removed two bottles of Coca-Cola from the table in front of him during the press conference at the European Football Championship on Monday.

"Everyone has the right to choose their own drink according to their taste and need," the company said in a statement.

On the other hand, a spokesman for the Euro Football Cup said: "Players are offered Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero as well as water during the press conference.

Ronaldo's video clip has gone viral on social media and a large number of users have hailed his action as a "positive message".

It should be noted that the Coca-Cola Company is sponsoring the European Football Championship League.
